Welcome to Court Lodge Estate Lamberhurst
Court Lodge Estate Lamberhurst – imagine a mini Downton Abbey! The Estate lies in the heart of Kent. On its borders, the ancient Grade I listed Lamberhurst Church and Lamberhurst Golf Club.
The main house (our residence) is steeped in history. The existing house dates back to 1733, although there has been a house on this site for around a thousand years. The estate sits on the mature parkland of Lamberhurst golf course.

For any visitors who are keen golfers, green fees can be pre-booked via the golf course. Regular guests to the property included Jane Austen and Siegfried Sassoon. Margaret Thatcher rented one of the apartments before becoming PM! The estate itself benefits from magical sunken gardens, a Georgian walled garden and a knot garden. It should be noted that the private grounds will not be offered as part of the holiday lets enjoyment.
Lamberhurst is a short drive away from Tunbridge Wells. The 14th Century moated Scotney Castle is a pleasant walk away, and there are many interesting gardens close by. Ten mins drive from nearest BR. The village has two public houses, and we also recommend The Chequers, for lovely food, wine and local ales. There is a village convenience store, tea room and nice recreation grounds. We are literally two minutes from the A21 an easy journey to Rye and other south coastal towns.
